Train the Ymirus through war games, claim relics, and empower your faction
In Call of Gjallahorn, the King founded four factions to keep the Ymirus in constant training, forging the best elite soldiers possible. Every week, these factions clash to seize sacred relics and the boons they grant.
The Four Factions
Royal Family
Order and hierarchy as the path to survival. Discipline, legacy, and unity under a rightful crown.
Magisterium
Arcane supremacy above all. Mastery of magic, knowledge, and mystical research ensures survival.
Engineers
Technology secures tomorrow. Build, optimize, and reinvent the world through devices and craft.
Freemen
Freedom and merit. Be judged by skill alone — independence and self-determination guide all actions.
Guilds & Faction Affiliation
- Faction choice is made at the guild level. When you join a guild, you adopt its faction. This is not an individual choice.
- Permanent for the guild. A guild’s faction is permanent, once the Oath is said, it is done.
- Switching faction = switching guild. You can change faction by joining another guild aligned to a different faction.
- Reputation per faction. Your reputation is tracked separately for each faction. When you move, you’ll start (or resume) the reputation of the new faction; your old reputation is preserved.
Event Schedule & Rules
- When: Every Saturday at 9:00 PM (duration: 1 hour).
- Where: Battles unfold across four different maps.
- Objective: Each map holds a Divine Artifact. Capture and hold it until the event ends.
- Outcome: The faction holding an artifact at the end receives a 7-day global bonus.
- Multiple Relics: Factions can own several artifacts at once and stack their boons.
