The Zeny System Reforged

A new economy shaped by war and survival

The world of Call of Gjallahorn has changed. The great war has ravaged the land, and Prontera’s Bank was destroyed long ago. With no central mint, Zeny have become rare — and their value has soared. A player holding 1,000z is already considered wealthy, while 10,000z marks the rank of the elite.

Every item price and NPC service fee in the game has been completely rebalanced to reflect this new economic design, where each zeny truly matters.

The Bounty Hunters' Agency

Since the fall of the banks, all Zeny circulation is controlled by the Bounty Hunters’ Agency — an independent guild tasked with rewarding adventurers who protect the city by fighting its oppressors.

Completing bounty hunting quests is now the main source of income for all players, followed by trading with others. Before leaving for an adventure, make sure to pick up your bounties — each quest is linked to a specific map, making progress intuitive and consistent.

A bounty quest terminal can also be found in every bunkers.

The Independent Banking System

Bounty Hunters Agency

With the destruction of Prontera’s central bank, adventurers were forced to adapt. In its place emerged a new solution: an independent banking system, operated by trusted intermediaries scattered across the city.

This system is entirely optional. Players are free to keep their Zeny on their character at all times. However, banking offers additional tools for those who wish to secure, share, or transfer wealth in a world where every coin has value.

Personal Bank Accounts

A Personal Bank Account is directly linked to a player’s account. It allows adventurers to safely store Zeny and perform direct transfers to other players without fees.

Each personal account is identified by a unique Bank ID, which can be shared with other players to receive funds instantly. This system replaces traditional mail-based transactions and avoids unnecessary intermediaries.

Shared Bank Accounts

For groups, guilds, or long-term partnerships, players can create Shared Bank Accounts. These accounts allow multiple characters to deposit and withdraw Zeny from a common pool.

Every transaction performed on a shared account is logged and traceable, clearly displaying:

This transparency ensures trust between members and makes shared funds viable for expeditions, crafting projects, or community-driven goals.

In a shattered economy, trust and coordination are worth more than gold.

A Player-Driven Economy

The Zeny system is designed to be self-sustaining and player-driven. Wealth is not created out of thin air — it must be earned, shared, and sometimes protected with blood. Every purchase, every quest, every trade contributes to shaping the future of Prontera.

Your actions matter — both on the battlefield and in the marketplace.
